Eight months of fun!
Other parents say that it just gets more fun, and I'd have to agree. June was filled with city adventures! Now that Elle's 'routines' are a little less demanding, we are getting into the swing of being a bit more mobile. Which we LOVE, right in time for summer in the city. Some of our explorations have included trips to Brooklyn with our besties, FIRST BOAT RIDE past the Statue of Liberty, park picnics and sandbox fun, first carousel ride at the seaglass carousel in lower Manhattan, a visit to the rooftop at The Met, FIRST BEACH EXPERIENCE at both Brighton Beach and Coney Island, and lots of Central Park. Elle has no idea just how cool it is to be a NYC baby. ;)
Ellie beans is eating all sorts of mashed foods (we hear she is grabbing friends' food at daycare!), and loves sweet peas. We've started working on high-fives, kisses and standing with shoes. Baby Elle climbs all over the place - her favorite is to climb up the dog stairs on to the couch! Bouncing is a favorite pastime and she will sit in a highchair... until she gets bored. We've started to see a bit of separation anxiety this month too!
We are still loving Elle's loud and funny giggles and baby talk. Bath time has been fun with letters and E's beloved rubber ducky! And Elle loooooves her doggies, Sundae and Pickle. Loves to grab, crawl after and giggle at them both!
Growing, growing, growing has been our theme this month. :)
