It's a very happy half-birthday to our little Ellie beans!
Teeth: Ugh. I think I can rack up some parent sympathy points when I say that Elle has been teething. As of today, SHE HAS BOTTOM TEETH!
Food: Elle has continued to eat (and most of the time enjoy!) baby food and purées. She had "turkey dinner" the other night and loved it. I told her she was like her grandma who loves Thanksgiving so much she cooks it in the summer. :)
Praises: The day after Elle's 5 month update she started saying "da-da"! We now practice "ma-ma" daily. ;) Elle has also started moving forward, especially when she is trying to get a toy! It's so fun seeing her on the move. She is also getting better with sitting up... restaurant high chairs, we are almost ready for you!
Hard moments: This month has stretched us in new ways navigating parenthood and careers. A journey that can only be learned on the ground while you are exhausted and in the weeds. We are so incredibly blessed by the lives we lead, and are trying to focus on the joys that are big and small.
Below are some of our favorite memories from this past month. We are so in love with Elle's big open mouth smiles and beautiful eyes. We continue to be surrounded by community...AND PRETTY SPRING WEATHER!
We've also had some time to sneak away this month on dates (including celebrating our 4th NewYorkiversary!). Also mixed in with some downtime for us all at home. The best way to feel refreshed! XO!
