Every birthday feels a bit different.
A new age, new expectations of what that age will have in store.
28 feels good.
Like a cup of coffee, in my favorite green mug on a sunny day.
Coffee that is filled with energy.
Mature enough to be enjoyed by those that have a collection of life experiences…
...some more than others.
But a collection nonetheless.
It is also an age that beckons familiarity and comfort with yourself,
the life you have built and are living.
This is the 10th birthday I've spent with Richard.
My favorite person to celebrate life with.
And every year, he keeps the magic and fun alive.
